I love Fullarton Market as a stall holder and an opportunity to market our products in a great location. The market is well organized and it is easy to stay in touch with management as there is a monthly newsletter, the opportunity to provide feed back and problem solve. As producers it is impossible to attend the whole range of markets to promote products. Consequently, with experience one becomes selective. Our choices are made on location, cost, organization, sales and ambience. We have achieved our highest sales figures at Fullarton and our average sales are equal to or slightly higher than other locations. We like to position ourselves at markets where there is a diverse range of fresh food, craft and plants. Fullarton Markets fit all of those criteria in our market assessment. Additionally to this we like to choose markets where there is a great sense of commaradery among stallholders and producers as we are all on a steep learning curve. Many of us are developing products in a degree of isolation, so relationships with fellow producers are a vital source of information, support and networking. Fullarton market is a prime example of positive relationships amongst producers.
